  • Comments Off on HooplaHa: 1,872-Pound Zombie Pumpkin Carving

What would you do with a 1,872-pound pumpkin?

Amazing pumpkin artist Ray Villafane turned this massive pumpkin, one of the world’s largest in fact, into a life-sized zombie work of art. Villafane and his team at Villafane Studios worked for three days to transform several of these giant pumpkins into a masterpiece exhibit for New York’s Botanical Garden. Villafane’s amazingly detailed creation featured a zombie rising from the ground, pulling a number of smaller pumpkin zombies attached to pumpkin vines.

HooplaHa got a chance to capture the entire carving process and chat with Villafane about his inspiration for the spine-chilling sculptures!

Check out how the awesome zombie carving timelapse happened:

  • Comments Off on HooplaHa: Tiny Dog Is Huge Inspiration — Chihuahua Uses Wheelchair to Spread Happiness to Others!

These are the kinds of comments we receive whenever someone hears the story of BeeBee, a tiny Chihuahua who was born with the kind of abnormality that would have crippled a lesser dog. With no shoulder blades, BeeBee can’t put any weight on her front legs or straighten them. Yet, BeeBee refuses to let her handicap stop her from living life to the fullest.

The engineering students at Bollman Tech, a local technical and engineering school, also refused to let BeeBee’s handicap stop her. They engineered and created a special wheelchair just for her, and it’s not only functional but also adorable. Take a look at our HooplaHa video featuring BeeBee:

BeeBee has always been a beloved visitor at Alpine Living Center in Thornton, Colorado but now that she has a specialized wheelchair she roams the nursing home halls all by herself cheering up everyone she meets!

“Residents fell in love with her, the staff fell in love with her,” says BeeBee’s proud owner, Denise Steininger. “I don’t think her head’s gotten swollen or anything with stardom,” she adds.
