What would you do with a 1,872-pound pumpkin?
Amazing pumpkin artist Ray Villafane turned this massive pumpkin, one of the world’s largest in fact, into a life-sized zombie work of art. Villafane and his team at Villafane Studios worked for three days to transform several of these giant pumpkins into a masterpiece exhibit for New York’s Botanical Garden. Villafane’s amazingly detailed creation featured a zombie rising from the ground, pulling a number of smaller pumpkin zombies attached to pumpkin vines.
HooplaHa got a chance to capture the entire carving process and chat with Villafane about his inspiration for the spine-chilling sculptures!
